Annual Appeal Support Group

Thursday, October 21, 2021
5:00pm - 6:00pm ET

Format: Online
Location: Zoom
Intended Audience: Managing leaders and fundraising staff of small-to-medium sized organizations who plan to implement an End-of-Year Fundraising Appeal in 2021/22.
Participation Level: High - this session is highly interactive and depends on group sharing and participation.

This series of workshops (October through January) will provide tools, resources, strategies, and practical support to plan and implement a successful Annual Fundraising Appeal. Each session will start with a deep-dive into one of the key elements of an Annual Appeal, such as communications strategy, case-making, involving and motivating your Board of Directors, data management, and reporting. Participants will be encouraged to share strategies, best practices, friendly accountability checks, and war stories with the rest of the group. Starting in-person/hybrid in October and then meeting once a month over Zoom, the series will conclude with an in-person session in January focused on multi-year reporting and strategies to make next year's Annual Appeal even more efficient and effective.
