Social Media: Messaging and Tactics

2:00pm - 5:00pm ET

Format: Online
Location: Zoom
Intended Audience: Marketing professionals from A.R.T./New York member organizations of any size.
Participation Level: Medium - Mix of presentation and discussion.

Social Media Messaging and Tactics is a workshop designed to teach art makers how to choose, leverage, and evaluate major social media platforms. This class will provide creatives with the most up-to-date user data available to help cultivate existing and new patrons or audiences. We will also discuss goals for social media usage that centers authentic relationships. Some questions we will delve into:

  • What is your voice or brand?
  • How do I find/create content to share?
  • Which platform is right for me?

Participating artists will have access to all instructional materials plus additional resources via Google Classroom.

Jessyca Holland has over sixteen years working in the arts and culture field. In 2010, Jessyca co-founded C4 Atlanta, a nationally recognized non-profit arts service organization.
