Information on SBA Loans and CARES Act

Dear Members,

Thank you all for joining us on Friday for the Town Hall. In this moment when we cannot create or produce our work, your compassion, positive energy, and willingness to share resources continues to inspire us. Seeing your faces was so wonderful! We'll be sharing out the notes and takeaways from the Town Hall tomorrow, but I wanted to share with you some information about the SBA loan program with you asap.

Below are two critical pieces of information on the SBA-Loans through the CARES Act included in the latest Relief Package. All of you qualify, as do independent contractors and individual artists. We recommend that you carefully review the following information as well as talk with your board and staff about these opportunities.

We have a link from our government relations firm, Cozen O'Connor, and a detailed and informative 10 page memo from our Board Member Andrew Lance at GibsonDunn. I know it's a lot to take in, and if you have a board member who can help, now is the time to ask.

Gibson Dunn: COVID-19 Resources for Nonprofits »

Additionally, we wanted to share the attached spreadsheet our auditor Karen Kowgios with Withum built to help theatres prepare to submit an SBA loan application.

As I receive additional updates, I will share them with you. A.R.T./New York is also looking at additional resources to assist you in navigating and applying for these programs.

Take care and remember to breathe!

Yours,
Ginny
