I am thrilled to join the team at A.R.T./New York as Director of Programs, starting August 11. In so many ways, this is a dream job for me. I began my career in theater as a stage manager in Chicago's storefront theater scene, and during the last seven years that I have been in New York City, I have been fortunate enough to run a small presenting space in Brooklyn, to develop and manage professional development programs for individual artists at Creative Capital, and to produce live performance. I will bring every one of these experiences to bear in executing the amazing suite of programs at A.R.T./New York. 

New York's theater scene is so diverse, curious, engaged, and exciting. It will be a privilege to bring all the resources that are available through A.R.T./New York - space, grants, loans, professional development - to serve you, the membership. I hope we will find many ways to address all the challenges in the field together, to develop new resources, and to support the innovative and exciting theater that you are creating every day. This community of members and colleagues is in and of itself a wonderful resource. I am excited to meet you all, learn more about you, and see the theater you make. 

I am honored to be of service to this community, and I look forward to our work together.
