Notes from Virtual Town Hall

Dear Members,

I want to thank all of you who joined us for our Town Hall on Friday, the 27th. After 2 weeks of working from home and social distancing, seeing so many of your faces and hearing your voices was truly inspiring! Read the notes from the Town Hall »

As the number of Coronavirus cases and deaths continues to climb, we find ourselves in a global public health crisis, a financial crisis, and the inability to do what gives us the greatest comfort: creating theatre! And yet, amid all these challenges, you continue to find ways to communicate with your colleagues, your artists, and your audience.

If I learned anything on Friday, it is this: Nothing can defeat the singular urge that compels theater artists to create. Take away our money, our offices, studios and even our spaces, and we will still create and deliver theatre while supporting one another spiritually, emotionally, and financially!

These are incredibly scary times, and as always, you give me inspiration and hope. Together we will come out of this, stronger and better!

Yours,
Ginny
