2018 Cycle Two Creative Space Grantees

2018 Creative Space Grantee Bushwick Starr's production of PORTO.  

A.R.T./New York is proud to announce the 2018 Cycle 2 recipients of the Creative Space Grant! The following 64 companies received a total of 2,950 free rehearsal hours from January to June of 2018. 
 
The Creative Space Grant, supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, is an in-kind grant of free rehearsal space in A.R.T./New York's studio spaces at the LuEsther T. Mertz South Oxford Space and Spaces @ 520.

A.R.T./New York is proud to announce the 2018 recipients of the Edith Lutyens and Norman Bel Geddes Design Enhancement Fund.
 
The following eight companies received a total of $63,421 for these productions in 2018.

Looking for a last minute rehearsal and/or presentation space​​?
You're in luck! The A.R.T./New York Theatres is now offering affordable rental packages for hourly and full-day rehearsals, and half-day and full-day presentations in the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre from February 1-25. ​​

 

The Gural is a flexible black box space that measures approximately 34’ by 32’ and features a semi-sprung Masonite floor and a full ceiling grid at a height of 13’-8 1/2”.

 

Amenities include:

  • Two dressing rooms.
    Outfitted with shared restroom and shower, call board, mini-fridge, and microwave.
  • WiFi available throughout the space.
  • A limited number of folding tables and chairs are available.
  • Fully ADA accessible, including the booth and dressing rooms.
