NOTARY SERVICES

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

A.R.T./New York’s Fiscal Year 2011 ended on Thursday June 30, 2011. As of July 1, 2011 all memberships need to be renewed. Renewing your company’s membership takes just five minutes, and can be done electronically by simply by clicking the button on this page. Before you renew, please read the following important changes to A.R.T./New York’s membership policies and practices, effective as of July 1, 2011.

A.R.T./NEW YORK IS GOING PAPERLESS

In an effort to go green, A.R.T./New York is transitioning to a web-based membership renewal and activation process. Not only will this conserve paper, but it will make it easier for you to reactivate your membership! A designated primary contact at each organization will receive a username and password, which will enable them to access their theatre's information and reactivate A.R.T./New York membership. If your organization did not receive a renewal notification, please email Zach Hollwedel at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the name and email address of your correct primary contact and we will resend your information. Dues can be paid online with credit card or via check at your convenience.

12-MONTH MEMBERSHIPS

Effective July 1, A.R.T./New York memberships will be valid for 12 months after the renewal or activation date. For example, members who renew July 7, 2011 will have active membership through July 6, 2012.

A BRAND NEW LOOK AND NEW WAYS TO CONNECT

We are re-designing the A.R.T./New York website, which will make it easier for members to participate in our programs, connect to each other, and update their company information. This will guarantee that the most relevant information is getting to the right people at your organization. The new version of the site will also offer electronic event registration and online grant applications starting in Fall 2012.

NEW DEFINITIONS OF ASSOCIATE AND FULL MEMBERSHIP

The difference between Full and Associate membership is no longer based on 501(c)(3) status, but rather on the age of the organization. All theatre companies that have been producing for more than two years will be considered Full members. Companies that have been producing for two or fewer seasons will join as Associate members.

If you have any questions about membership renewal or your organization’s membership status, contact Zach Hollwedel at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or (212) 244-6667, ext. 241.
