Taking The Leap
11.18.24 - 11.20.24
Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned veteran, the A.R.T./New York Fall Forum has something to offer you. This special multi-day event is your chance to:
- Connect with peers from across New York's vibrant theatre community
- Dive deep into relevant topics and challenges with others at similar stages
- Gain practical new skills and tools to propel your work forward - for organizational leaders and individual members of all types
Engaging panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and fun social events will help you make valuable connections and unlock your next leap.
REGISTRATION
In order to create the most meaningful connections possible, we sincerely hope you will be able to join us in person. We are committed to providing the support necessary to make that possible. However, we recognize that in-person attendance may not be an option for everyone, so two key moments of the Fall Forum will also be live-streamed in partnership with Howlround and Transcend Streaming. When registering, you’ll have the option to indicate that you would like to receive links to view the live stream.
For in-person attendance, masking is encouraged. Masking will be required for participants attending the Breaking Down Decision Making workshop on Tuesday November 19th at 10:30am. A.R.T./New York will have masks available for participants.
To streamline the registration process, there is only ONE registration form for all event.
On the registration form, you will be able to:
- Choose which individual events you would like to attend,
- Request additional accessibility accommodations,
- Indicate whether you would like to receive links to view the live-streamed events, and
- Tell us how we can best support you if you are a caregiver planning to attend.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT
- We realize that in-person attendance can be a larger lift for caregivers in our community. With that in mind, we are pleased to offer stipends to help offset the cost of hiring caregiver support. You can let us know on the registration form if you’d like to request one of these stipends, and we will email you to begin a conversation. These stipends are limited, but we will do our best to fulfill all requests.
- We know that theatre administration isn’t the most interesting topic for young people, but children are welcome to attend any portion of the Fall Forum alongside an adult. You can let us know on the registration form if any children will be attending with you, and we’ll reach out to see what kid-friendly activities (coloring books, crayons, etc.) we can have on hand. We’re happy to chat about what we could do to make the experience fun for everyone. On 11/19 and 11/20 in the Spaces@520 there are also convenient side rooms in each studio that could serve as a “homework office.”
- A dedicated lactation space is available at A.R.T./New York’s Spaces@520.
