Each year at the A.R.T./New York Gala, artists and supporters from all across the Broadway and Off-Broadway community celebrate the importance of theatre, the impact of advocacy, and the success of the thousands of artists who rely on A.R.T./New York to make their dreams come true.
This June, A.R.T./New York will host a reimagined community celebration saluting arts leaders whose work has changed our field for the better— groundbreaking intimacy and cultural coordinator Ann James, and the team that has guided hundreds of theatre-makers to their success on their own terms, ARTS Action Research, led by Nello McDaniel.
Prior to this live community gathering at Current at Chelsea Piers, A.R.T./New York will proudly host two distinct video premiers that salute our honorees and the artists they serve. These videos are designed to delight and inform EVERY member of our community with access available for as little as $10 and help us spread the love for Ann James and Arts Action Research while raising the essential funds to support the vital services A.R.T./New York provides.

In the finale of our Gala Series, we'll host a flexible luncheon that will feature panels, performances, and testimony from artists who have worked directly with our honorees. New, member pricing and artist sponsorships have been introduced to ensure that all are able to celebrate our honorees and connect with folx from every corner of our A.R.T./New York community.
The need for our services has only increased, and A.R.T./New York is playing an essential role in the recovery of the non profit theatre field and by extension the whole of New York City’s economy. Join us in celebrating the resilience of our field and help us raise funds to support the future of New York City's nonprofit theatres!
