A.R.T/New York operates out of three convenient locations that provide our members with an array of competitively priced rehearsal space, performance space, and office rental options. We pride ourselves on keeping our spaces affordable, clean, and accessible. Read on to learn more about the different rental options and amenities available in each room.

We offer subsidized rates to our members, through our Creative Space Program. Head over to the membership page to learn more about joining our community of 400+ theatre-makers.

 A.R.T./New York provides our members with long-term administrative office space, flexible administrative office space, rehearsal studios available for rent by the hour, and performance space rentals to members and non-member organizations.

Studio Rehearsal Space

A.R.T./New York has a total of eight studio and meeting spaces available in Manhattan at [email protected] and in Brooklyn at South Oxford Space to rent by the hour for rehearsals, meetings, auditions, workshops, and small-scale performances. The studio spaces at our facilities are great for rehearsals, auditions, classes, readings, concerts, conferences, staff retreats, and more. Many studios have a piano, rehearsal cubes, music stands, and extra tables are available by request when you secure your booking.

 

Office Rentals

A.R.T./New York’s South Oxford Space & [email protected] facilities house a combined 41 offices.
Suppose you’ve dreamt of an office in Manhattan or Brooklyn, nestled next door to all your favorite theatre companies, mere footsteps from our rehearsal studios. Dream no longer. Renters will have access to amenities such as a copier, pantry, mailbox rentals, studio rentals, and storage space. And, if you don't need a full-sized year-round office rental, we also have flexible commitment options available for weekly and monthly rentals via - Suite Life.

 

 

Performance Space Rental

Are you planning upcoming productions? A.R.T./New York Members with budgets under $1 million may be eligible to apply for reduced rates. We have two state-of-the-art theatres designed by world-renowned architect Toshiko Mori, and Arup theatre consultants. Located in the hell’s kitchen area between 10th and 11th avenue. We’ve got a space to suit your needs, whether it’s for a long-term rental, short-term rental, a recording, or a film shoot. Our performance venues have up to 87 and 149 seats respectively (depending on configuration). 

Regardless of what you are booking for a theatre to stage a multi-week production, an AEA showcase, or a festival, reach out to us and our facilities staff will work with you to identify the best package for you.

 

Visual Gallery 

Gallery Three is located on the third floor of South Oxford Space in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. This intimate showroom has housed over 40 exhibits since 2004 and has featured local artists working in various media. Curator Stephanie Bok focuses on highlighting the work of early to mid-career artists—ranging from self-taught to professionally trained—while maintaining a high standard of artistic excellence. 

Local artists who wish to submit proposals for future exhibitions may email their bio, work description, and JPEG or PNG images to Stephanie Bok at [email protected] No phone calls or unscheduled visits, please.

All sales inquiries are referred to the exhibiting artists or their representatives.
