Who: This workshop is for A.R.T./New York members who are new to reading contracts, signing contracts, issuing contracts or simply want a refresher! 

For many of us, interacting with contracts can feel overwhelming, as if they are intentionally structured and worded to confuse and  intimidate. Well, stress no longer! Please join us for A.R.T./New York’s next roundtable - Contracting Basics with Danielle King, Director of Program Services at A.R.T./New York.

In this roundtable, we will focus on building your basic knowledge and familiarity with contracting so that you feel more confident in drafting, reviewing, and engaging with written contracts. Together we will demystify some of the most ubiquitous legalese of contract terminology and find ways to imbue the contracting process with humanity and a values-based approach.
