Gender Inclusivity in the Rehearsal Room

Wednesday May 17, 2023
3:00pm - 4:30pm ET

Format: Online
Location: Zoom
Intended Audience: Open to any A.R.T./New York member, regardless of role or membership type.**
Participation Level: Medium

With more and more openly trans and non-binary artists walking in our doors, how do we make our spaces as welcoming for them as possible? We'll discuss how to create a rehearsal room that's inclusive and affirming - and how to ensure that culture follows us into tech and beyond. Our primary focus will be on company management, production management, and stage management, but the topics and ideas will apply to theatres (and other types of organizations) more generally as well.

**If a stage manager, company manager, and/or performer is new to your organization and doesn't yet have an A.R.T./New York username, please email [email protected] so that we can set up a user profile and enable them to RSVP to this event!
