A peer-to-peer networking event for current Member Theatres who consider themselves to be "new." We generally imagine this means you've been around for 3 years or less, but we welcome anyone who feels that this label applies to their organization. This is a chance to connect with others who are also just starting out, and to form a cohort of peers with whom you can discuss challenges, brainstorm solutions, and share knowledge in a conversational setting.

This Roundtable will be facilitated by Greg Taubman and Chie Morita of FORGE NYC, who will share their considerable knowledge and insights about how to chart the course as an upstart organization.

Grounded in the belief that how we work matters as much as what we create and why, FORGE NYC is a boutique arts consultancy that helps organizations and independent artists take the next step in their work. Through our process-oriented consulting engagements, productive developmental workspaces, and well-curated resources, we train makers to measure the real costs of their projects, to communicate the value of their work, and, ultimately, to forge a path to success. Created by Co-Founders Greg Taubman and Chie Morita in 2015, FORGE NYC has been proud to consult with arts companies and solo creators across the US and the world, and to partner with member organizations including A.R.T./New York, The Artist Coop, The Indie Theater Fund, and The Empowered Artist Collective.
